Each season in the fall, many automotive manufacturers have a three- to five-day training session for their product specialist teams. I was afforded the opportunity a few years back to join a great, small crew of facilitators at the biggest agency in the country, whose job it is to train these folks each year.
We travel to a location of the client’s choosing and spend a week or so teaching the specialists about automotive technology, the company’s philosophy, their lineup of cars, the roles expected of them, etc. – we often even get to take them on an exciting road course of our own creation to give them some behind-the-wheel time with the vehicles.
…and, as the picture above might indicate, we usually have a great time doing it!
